2020 went by so quick, time to highlight the joyful, positive moments we did have, despite this weird year!
One of our biggest highlights was the 2020 Pentawards Ceremony, due to Corona held in Donk with the entire QM Team. Amongst the showcased 2,000 entries from more than 60 countries, we were able to bring home as the only Belgian design agency, 2 shiny new Pentawards!

On the 1st of December 2017, Quatre Mains participated in a Luca School of Arts learning session, together with the next generation of budding new designers. Several speakers shared their personal insights regarding various topics across graphic, digital, advertising, brand & packaging design. From patisserie ingredient to professional cocktail essential
DiraFrost, a Belgian producer of 100% natural frozen fruit used primarily in the bakery and patisserie industry, felt the time was ripe to tap into a new marketing segment for its fruit purées. The product was initially positioned and sold as fruit purée for patisserie and ice-cream producers. However, following a creative brainstorming session regarding this product innovation, the existing product was relaunched as 100% mashed fruit (without any additives), under the brand name of “BeARtender” for the trendy cocktail bar sector. The last week of October 2016, Quatre Mains attended an EPDA congres in Taipei - Taiwan. EPDA stands for European Packaging Design Association, and is the leading European network uniting internationally minded designers and agencies who value contact and interaction with peers. Together with a group of 50 attendees from East and West we explored how much courage we have to take in the design business to succeed locally and globally. It was a busy, well-filled week with lots of interesting presentations and inspiring case stories. On Friday the 23rd of September in The Hyatt on the Bund in Shanghai, the 10th anniversary edition of the prestigious Pentawards were held. The international jury of established industry figures recognised our pots and pans packaging for Jeroen Meus and the exclusive end-of-year biscuit collection for Jules Destrooper, bestowing Gold and Silver awards respectively. The client Euroma wished to make a meaningful impact on the chaotic and over-populated world of supermarket seasoning. In order to make this new family range stand-out from a visually complex crowd of miniature players, the designers decided to adhere coherently and consistently under the umbrella of a unifying positioning and brand identity. Another important differentiating factor is the reusable and reﬁllable nature of the authentic glass preserving jars, chosen speciﬁcally to reduce packaging waste in the long term.Read more >
