Quatre Mains Breakfast'ival

Welcome to the middle of nowhere ;)

As a way of celebrating the love-connection we have with our clients and a tribute to their trust and loyalty, we organized an inspirational breakfast festival or should we say ‘Breakfast’ival’, to bring us all together. With an exclusive 80 ticket limited capacity, the festival was sold-out in a blink of an eye. And never wishing to do anything by halves, we took this opportunity to make a real event of this occasion by inviting industry expert speakers of international renown to catapult our breakfast get-together into a real festival experience.

We're taking a short break from the 25th until the 29th of December.

Just enough time to recharge those sparkling batteries, spend time with our loved one's over this holiday period and take stock of the glorious rollercoaster that was 2023. Rest assured we'll be shining-on, as bright as ever in the New Year.

EPDA Valencia 2023

Hola inspiración.

Searching for sun, sea, togetherness, and creative inspiration, we set off together for wonderful Valencia and the EPDA Conference for September 2023. A fun filled weekend packed with insights, experiences, and thought-provoking ideas to enlighten our mindset and grow our design team and community.

PENTAWARDS 2023 Bronze Winners!

Each year we're blown away by the recognition we recieve from the global packaging design community at the Pentawards. Following on from last years success, the 2023 competition has also handed us a pretty new shiny thing for our ever expanding award shelf. Since 2009 we've been honoured to be included in this very select group of wonderful creatives, hailing from multiple countries and cultures worldwide. This year still feels as exciting as the first with our deliciously unmissable redesign for The Bio Veggie Company, bringing home a Bronze Award in the category of 'Plant Based and Vegan Alternative Foods'. Additionally we were recognized with a Nomination Certificate for Derby Pils design for Delhaize in the category of 'Private Label Beverages'.

Roll on 2024 I guess, no rest for the wicked ;)

To celebrate the end of 2022, we put on our Cyan, Magenta, Yellow and Black dresses and suits for our annual Christmas party. CMYK all the way!

Pentawards 2022

September saw the 2022 edition of the world’s most prestigious Packaging Design awards. Situated this year in London at both the Science Museum and The Royal Opera House, this design festival and awards event collected the brightest creative minds that our industry has to offer, accumulating as many as 2000 entries from 60 countries worldwide. So you can imagine how stoked we are when Quatre Mains was privileged to climb the stage again to collect 2 shiny awards.

To celebrate Patrick's birthday we took a trip to the beach, Vintage Honolulu style.

No need for summertime sadness, we are open all summer!
Occasionaly with some grinding sand between our toes, we will still be blowing a cool breeze towards brand & packaging designs, enthusiastically answering our design emergency hotline.

Pentawards 2021 Winner!

On the 30th of September, the world's leading and most prestigious competition for packaging design announced its winners. This year the Pentawards 2021, received over 2000 entries from 60 countries worldwide.

We’re over the moon to announce that Quatre Mains, as the only Belgian packaging design agency, won 2 awards.

Pentawards Jury 2021

Pentawards unveils largest and most diverse jury yet for 2021 awards.
The 2021 Pentawards will bring together 40 leading creative minds, includes our own Creative farmer Patrick De Grande to judge and celebrate best-in-class packaging design from across the globe.

QM Throwback to 2020

2020 went by so quick, time to highlight the joyful, positive moments we did have, despite this weird year!

One of our biggest highlights was the 2020 Pentawards Ceremony, due to Corona held in Donk with the entire QM Team. Amongst the showcased 2,000 entries from more than 60 countries, we were able to bring home as the only Belgian design agency, 2 shiny new Pentawards!

EOY Wishes

QM Bake Off

Voor iedereen die graag de keuken onveilig maakt, steek je handen uit de mouwen en doe mee aan onze Quatre Mains Bake-off!

Inktober 2020

For the second year in a row, each QM member that had his or her fingers itching to draw, took a (daily) moment to sit behind the drawing board. Take a look at this year’s harvest of our Inktober Challenge.

Yes indeed, our ever creative mother hen made us some baskets with soil & seeds filled eggshells.

Fasten your face-masks and get ready for a new take off!

This abnormal period is working hard to also profoundly influence packaging design trends. No more excuses as the focus is now even more on the theme of sustainability and on consumer safety concerns. Now that e-commerce is also peaking, it's a pertinent question as to whether packaging design is a future-proof, direct-to-consumer model. In other words, these three mega developments are causing a small landslide that makes a big contribution to shaping the “new standard” of packaging.

Fascinating Times!

We’re experiencing an exciting time for packaging designers, who once again have the opportunity to be 100% creative with no limits. From bright colour transitions to no colour at all, from an eclectic style to minimalism, and from ingenious packaging solutions to an allergy to plastic. It is up to designers to be smarten up with trends and to utilise everything ensure the product jumps off the shelf as well as the screen.

From Good to Great

On the 1st of December 2017, Quatre Mains participated in a Luca School of Arts learning session, together with the next generation of budding new designers. Several speakers shared their personal insights regarding various topics across graphic, digital, advertising, brand & packaging design. Our very own Patrick De Grande shared his thoughts about what ultimately, brand & packaging design can do for you, your brand and the product. Additionally, how it’s possible to bridge the gap between design work that is considered ‘good’ to work that you can proudly call ‘great’.
