Redesign for POCO LOCO
Let’s get this party started.

No design identity lives forever, so when Poco Loco came knocking on our door to help them re-imagine their packaging design identity that we had originally created years ago, it wasn’t much of a surprise. As times change and markets evolve, brands need to adapt and so does their packaging.
The category of wraps, dips, tortillas and other Mexican cuisine inspired products has become a rooted must-have across supermarkets in Belgium and in many markets across the world. Once a relatively unique player in the market, now Poco Loco competes in a far more populated category, with well known ‘A’ brands and private labels all fighting for shelf space. Knowing therefore that it’s now imperative more than ever to let your individuality shine, Poco Loco realized that their ‘Effortlessly Joyful’ brand character needed a new look to better reflect their true self.
We decided to re-energise the identity with the vibrancy and festivity of culinary cultural celebration. Infusing eclectic colour clashes with eye-popping illustrative product patterns, the goal was to seriously turn-up the energy and playfulness for all to see. Poco Loco being a brand who’s more than just a little bit crazy about flavour, required meal-suggestion appetite appeal photography to help enhance the experience and inspire consumers to make delicious creations of their own. This coupled with the same consumer-intuitive guidance across their extensive product portfolio, resulted in a packaging system who brings the party whilst functioning efficiently like any successful design should.
Time to go loco!
