Design Evolution for LIBEERT

If you’re going to tell a story, then why not do it with chocolate.

After working hard to help establish a new visual identity and design vision for our client Libeert for the Belgian and European markets, it became apparent that a new evolution was required to make a deeper lasting impact on the UK consumer. After listening to current consumer needs and demands from a major UK retailer, it was decided to make the bold step away from plastic bags to carton boxes for their chocolate figurines, and all this in time for the all-important Easter period.

No longer able through transparent bags to display the chocolate figurines in all their glory, we had to compromise by utilizing stand-out product photography that zooms-in on their irresistible characters. This accompanied by cuter than cute new names and a character-profile side panel with peep-hole window, made sure the pack lived and breathed the product story. This consumer engagement continues around the pack with all important brand storytelling and fun Libeert themed games on the back for the kids.

Pack design that displays how brands need to keep their finger on the pulse of ever-changing consumer/client needs and be willing to invest and adapt to keep their brand relevant in today’s market.

Deliciousness that keeps those smiles growing.
