Summer was quickly approaching along with the Euro 2016 Football championship and high expectations for the Belgian national team. This called for action in order to profit from this commercially profitable beer drinking and celebratory season. Our client Delhaize decided that a relaunch and repositioning of its Angel beer was required to ride this football crazy enthusiasm.
Faced with a challenge to bring something new to this overly saturated world of sporting limited editions we decided to adopt a nostalgic retro approach, inspired by the familiar and popular world of table football.
This winning Angel team of footy underdogs looked to score big against the champions of the beer aisle. Tous ensemble!
