Lima, a well-known brand in the organic food markets, finds it origin and inspiration in the Japanese kitchen and food culture. Lima is well known for its wide range of dry Japanese teas, the majority of which are of exceptional authentic quality.
Due to the exciting growth in the current tea market, Lima decided to give a boost to their product range by launching four new premium dry green teas for the European market. These flavours are uniquely designed for Lima, all Sencha based and mixed with herbs and spices. They come in 4 appealing flavours: Agrum, Exotic Fruits, Ginger Cardamom and Mint Matcha.
Our brief was to create a design that celebrates a recognisable minimalistic Japanese style whilst maintaining a focus on pleasure and intrigue. The design required to illustrate the finesse and balance associated with the Japanese tea tradition, an object of control and refinement.
Our design shows the delicate tea fragrances rising out of a traditional Japanese tea cup.
This coupled with a dreamy combination of typical Japanese cultural icons and pure ingredients. All beautifully composed on elegantly embossed black tin. The essence of a true Japanese tea experience.
